October Currently

Yippee...it's time for October's Currently compliments of Farley from Oh' Boy 4th Grade!

Check out Jerry Seinfeld's book, Halloween!  It's super cute and great for making text-to-self connections.  The illustrations are to die for and you will definitely have a few good laughs throughout your read aloud.

Hey Liliris,

Is Once Upon a Time a show? And I know how you feel about driving so far!!! I drive an hour and 10 for work and it takes a toll on me. I feel for ya. I started listening to books on CD to get me through the drive.

Hope you have a good night!

I love Once upon a time! 50 miles is a loooong way to drive to work. I drive 2 minutes. Thanks for stopping by.

I work 50 minutes away from home, and this is my first year doing it. I'm already wondering what my game plan will be for next year. Try to transfer within the same charter district? Find another school MUCH closer to home? It's a tough call. I guess I'll see how the rest of the year goes. I don't know if I can handle the drive long-term, but jobs aren't easy to find. I, too, listen to audio books on my drive to and from work. That has kept me sane, at least.

Ugh...I am so sorry you have to drive far! That's no fun! Maybe some books on CD would help! Have a great weekend!

I drive pretty far too - about 40 minutes. I started car pooling with a friend and the time flies by! It also saves a ton on gas.
