Desks
Student desks are organized in cooperative groups to promote team building and collaboration. Throughout the year we frequently rearrange our desks.
Classroom Library
Our classroom library holds over 2,000 books. Books are organized by genre, series, and reading level. New books are purchased and added to our classroom library throughout the school year. Bonus points from our Scholastic Book Order help make this possible! For every book students purchase, bonus points are earned for our class.
Student Bins
Students use bins for their math supplies. Inside is their math folder, toolbox, whiteboard, marker, and eraser. Students simple grab their math bins and are ready to go for math workshop.
Purple bins house each students' purple writing folder, yellow reading folder, and the books they are currently reading. They use their purple bins in the morning and their blue bins in the afternoon.
Mail Corner
Students can grab their mail quickly from this corner while they are packing up at the end of the day.
Class Jobs
Class jobs are posted for students to see. Students rotate through the jobs each week. They are responsible for helping our classroom run smoothly.
